My focus is on bringing together WC research and research across the English department, and potentially from other departments, on how things like racism, ableism, and other kinds of societal issues/community breaking or building appear in language and rhetoric. In Professor MacDougall’s class this fall, I am getting the chance to conduct field research for my project as I worked with her over the summer to remodel the syllabus and to organize visits from three English department faculty members to speak with the class.
